Sringeri Math
It is located in Chikmagalur in South India. After the names of the sannyasis who have received initiation under the Sringeri Math, the name Saraswati, Bharati and Puri sects are followed by adjectives, due to which they are considered as monks of the said sect. The first abbot of this Math was Acharya Sureshwarji, whose former name was Mandan Mishra.
