1. Conch is such a thing that both Lord Vishnu and Mata Lakshmi wear it.  In the house where there is a conch, the grace of these two Gods resides there.
 
2. To become rich, the conch is very useful because the conch is very dear to Goddess Lakshmi, worshiping Lakshmi Ji on Friday and blowing the conch shell brings happiness and prosperity to the house.
