Method of observing this fast.
 
On the day of Ashadh Shukla Trayodashi, wake up at the time of Brahma Muhurta and take bath after doing your regular tasks, after that, while resolving to fast, remember Mother Parvati. If the temple of the house has an idol or picture of Shiva-Parvati, then worship Do the same otherwise install an idol or picture.
 
Then start the worship by offering kumkum, belpatra, musk ashtagandha and flowers to Shiva-Parvati, offer coconut, pomegranate and other materials for offering.
 
Now by taking care of Mother Parvati, pray sincerely for happiness, good luck and peace, and ask for forgiveness for the mistakes committed by you.
 
Now you must also chant Mata Parvati Mantra Om Namah Shivaya. Now you have to read the story. After the Katha, complete the worship by performing aarti.
 
Make sure to offer food to Brahmins and take blessings by touching their feet by giving dakshina as per your wish.
 
If you have made an elephant of sand and used it in worship, then after the completion of the complete worship, immerse it in a river or pond.
