What are the nine planets in Vedic Astrology: In Vedic Astrology, there are 9 planets, each of which holds its own unique value and power. The nine planets are the Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Rahu, and Ketu. Seven of these are the natural planets of the solar system, while the other two, Rahu and Ketu, are considered shadow planets. In astronomical terms, we refer to them as the North node and the South node, respectively.

In Vedic Astrology, there are 9 planets, each of which holds its own unique value and power. The nine planets are the Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Rahu, and Ketu. Seven of these are the natural planets of the solar system, while the other two, Rahu and Ketu, are considered shadow planets. Let's discuss each planet and the elements they represent in our lives:

Sun: The Sun is known as the King of Planets and represents attitude, charm, presence, government jobs, government, father, stomach, and more.

Saturn: It represents discipline, hard work, truth, bones, old people, servants, laborers, delays, slowed results in life, court, lawyers, karma, etc.

Mars: It represents energy, aggression, protection, being short-tempered, possessiveness, boyfriend, blood, elder brother, sports, land, real estate, brokerage, etc.

Rahu: It represents illusion, confusion, greed, smoke, chain smokers, overnight superstardom, fraud, technology, lies, the internet, foreign travel, etc.

Ketu: It represents spiritual journeys, moksha, astrology, the occult, research, secret agents, hidden knowledge etc.
