According to the Panchang, this year the Vikat Sankashti Chaturthi Vrat, which showers the blessings of Lord Shri Ganesha, will be observed on 09 April 2021. According to the Panchang, the Chaturthi of Vaishakh month on which this fast is observed will start at 09:35 am on April 09, 2023, and end at 08:37 am on April 10, 2023. On the other hand, on the day of Vikat Sankashti Chaturthi, the moonrise will be at 10:02 pm.
Vikat Sankashti Chaturthi worship method:
To get desired blessings from Ganpati and to remove all the problems related to life, this year on the day of Vikat Sankashti Chaturthi fast, wake up early in the morning and wear clean clothes after taking bath and meditation. Then place the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha on a post by spreading a red-colored cloth. After this, purify Ganapati with Gangajal and worship him by offering fruits, flowers, akshat, Roli, sandalwood, incense, lamp, durva, etc.
In the worship of Ganapati, you can get the virtue of this day by reciting his mantra, Ganapati Atharvashirsha, or by performing his aarti. Modak must be offered to Ganapati during his worship.
