Tulsi Vivah Puja Method
On this day, Goddess Lakshmi is worshiped along with Lord Vishnu and Tulsi is married to Lord Shaligram. This festival is considered very important in Hinduism and is celebrated with great pomp.
Tulsi Vivah is a sacred ritual. To perform this puja, first of all, the idol of Tulsi and Shaligram is installed by laying a seat on a pedestal. Then this pedestal is decorated with sugarcane and a Kalash is installed.
First of all, Kalash and Ganesha are worshiped. After this, incense, lamps, clothes, garlands, and flowers are offered to Mother Tulsi and Lord Shaligram. Then makeup items and red chunri are offered to Mother Tulsi. After this, Tulsi Mangalashtak is recited.
Finally, seven rounds of Tulsi are taken by holding Shaligram ji in hand. After the completion of seven rounds, the Aarti of Lord Vishnu and Mother Tulsi is performed. Prasad is distributed at the end of the puja.
In this way, the ritual of Tulsi Vivah is completed. This ritual is performed to bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to the house.
