Satvai Amavasya has not only religious but also astrological significance. From the astrological point of view, Satuwai Amavasya is considered very auspicious for Shanti Puja which removes Pitridosh and Kalsarp Dosh. Let us know in detail about the worship method and the auspicious time of Satvai Amavasya.

Do these measures in the worship of ancestors:

Rice is specially used in the worship of ancestors in Hinduism because it has been called Havishya Anna or the food of the deities. Significantly, in the rituals related to the ancestors, bodies made of rice are made. It is believed that the forefathers get satisfied soon after getting this and shower their blessings. In such a situation, donate sattu made of rice on Satuwai Amavasya to remove Pitra Dosh from the horoscope and to get the blessings of ancestors.

Donation of Satuvai Amavasya:

In Hinduism, there is a tradition of bathing and donating by going on a water pilgrimage on holy dates. It is believed that on Satvai Amavasya, if sattu made of rice or normal sattu is donated to a needy person in the afternoon, then one gets good results. Similarly, the donation of food and water to the needy on Satui Amavasya is also considered very auspicious.

Method of worship of Satuvai Amavasya:

- In Hinduism, some special methods of worship have been told on the day of Satvai Amavasya, by which one gets the blessings of not only the concerned deity but also the particular planet. To get good results from Satvai Amavasya, if possible, along with worshipping, fasting should also be observed.

- To get the blessings of Lord Shri Vishnu on the day of Satvai Amavasya, one should chant the mantra 'Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Namah' as much as possible.

To get auspicious results on the day of Satvai Amavasya, raw milk and sesame should be mixed with water and offered on the Peepal tree. A lamp should be lit under the Peepal tree on the new moon day.

Bathing in the Ganges on Satvai Amavasya is considered very virtuous, so if possible, one should especially bathe on the banks of the Ganges on this day. If you are not able to go to the banks of the Ganges, then you can take a bath by mixing a little Ganges water in your bath water and get this virtuous benefit.

To get rid of the Kalsarp defect located in the horoscope and the sufferings caused due to it, after bathing and meditating on the day of Satvai Amavasya, a snake made of silver should be flown in flowing water. It is believed that by doing this remedy, one gets freedom from Kalsarp Dosh.
