Shri Krishna says O Yudhishthira! In Treta Yuga, I had a devotee named Bali. Although he belonged to the demon clan, he used to worship me with great devotion every day. Asuraraj Bali used to perform yagya daily and also give donations to Brahmins. One day, in the arrogance of his power, he attacked Indralok and conquered it and forced all the gods to leave Indralok. After losing to Bali, all the gods including Indra came to me in Vaikunth Dham. After coming to Vaikunth Dham, all the gods praised me by chanting mantras. Due to which my sleep got disturbed and I turned over. After that I told the gods that you all should not worry, I will soon do something by which you will get your world back.
