Every day of Navratri is considered auspicious and have significant importance. Similarly, on the eight day of Navratri, Durga Ashtami, the day specially devoteed to Goddess Durga is celebrated. This year, Maha durga Ashtami will be observed on 11 October.There are some special yogas being formed on the holy day, during which performing puja with right method of worship can bring special benefits to the devotees. So know which special yogas are being formed during Durga Ashtami this time.
Durga Ashtami: Auspicious time (Shubh Muhurat)
The Ashtami Tithi of Sharadiya Navratri starts from 10 October (12:31 PM) and will end the followinf day i.e., on 11 October (12:06 PM). Hence, according to the Udaya Tithi (Morning timings), the festival of Durga Ashtami will be observed on 11 October.
Devotees must note that in such a situtaion, the Sukarma Yoga will be formed on this day, which will then conclude at 2:47 PM on 11 October. Therefore, performing special puja during this time period (Shubh muhurat) is said to bring exceptional benefits to the devotees.
