The festival of Ganesh Utsav is going on in India with great pomp and show. This 10-day festival is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the destroyer of obstacles. According to religious beliefs, the idol of Ganesha is immersed on the date of Anant Chaturdashi. When will Ganesha be immersed? According to the Panchang, Anant Chaturdashi will start on the afternoon of 16 September and will end on the afternoon of 17 September. According to the Udaya date, Anant Chaturdashi date will be valid on 17 September. Bappa will be bid farewell on this day. On this day there will be 4 auspicious Chaughadiya Muhurtas for Ganpati immersion. It will be auspicious to immerse Ganpati Bappa in these auspicious times.

Ganesh Visarjan: Method of Ritual
- Wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes.
- Clean the place of worship
- Perform Jalabhishek of Bappa
- Apply yellow sandalwood to the Lord
- Offer flowers, Akshat, Durva and fruits
- Perform Aarti with incense and ghee lamp
- Offer Modak to Ganesh Ji
- Finally pray for forgiveness
